About ProFormance Engineering
ProFormance Engineering is an automotive and mechanical engineering consultant. Our engineers are Chartered Professional Engineers (CPEng) on the National Engineering Register (NER) and Registered Professional Engineers of Queensland (RPEQ). With more than 30 years in the automotive industry, we bring practical, hands-on knowledge to every project, from first concept through to certification. We operate a ROVER-licensed testing facility and are fully insured.

Mechanical Design
We provide mechanical design for clients across all industries, turning ideas and technical challenges into practical solutions that are safe, efficient and ready for manufacture. Every design is developed around how the product will be built, used and maintained in the real world.
Drafting Services
Accurate documentation is the foundation of a successful build. We produce detailed 3D models, general arrangement drawings, part and assembly drawings, and complete manufacturing packages to Australian drafting standards (AS 1100). Manufacturers and suppliers receive clear, complete information to get it right the first time.
Engineering Analysis
Using finite element analysis (FEA) supported by hand calculations, we verify strength, stiffness and fatigue life before anything is built. This identifies weak points early, avoids unnecessary over-design, and provides the engineering justification required for compliance and sign-off. Our analysis covers everything from small fabrication, chassis and trailers, to brackets, mounts and custom designed equipment.
Automotive Engineering
With more than 30 years in the automotive industry, we provide engineering for vehicle design, modifications, trailers, towing equipment and custom builds, all to ADR and VSB requirements. From one-off projects to production designs, we help businesses across the automotive sector get their vehicles on the road safely, legally and with confidence.
Testing and Compliance
ProFormance Engineering operates a ROVER-licensed testing facility, allowing design, analysis, testing and compliance to be managed under one roof. The result is fewer handovers, faster turnaround and a more streamlined path to approval.
Tools We Use
We design in SolidWorks and use SolidWorks Simulation for structural finite element analysis (FEA). Using industry-standard software means accurate 3D models, validated designs and clear engineering drawings that manufacturers and suppliers can build from with confidence.
